What it is and who it fits

Tonnel Network (`@tonnel_network_bot`, `tonnel.network`) is the second-largest upgraded-gifts marketplace and Portals' main competitor. Tonnel's bet is auctions as the primary price-discovery mechanism: instead of 'list at floor, wait for a buyer', the seller posts a lot for a short auction (an hour, a day, a week) and the final price is set by bidding. That gives sellers a shot at a premium above floor — particularly on rare permutations — and keeps liquidity active with finite time windows. Tonnel also pioneered 'inline offers': a buyer can pitch below the listing price without forcing the seller to publicly lower it — solving the 'how do I hide the discount from the market' problem. Fees are lower than Portals': 1.5% taker on auctions and 2% on buy-now. Downsides: less total liquidity in top collections than Portals, a slightly heavier UX from the auction mechanics (a newcomer needs to learn it), and weaker support for granular trait filters. A good fit for active traders who read trait distributions and hunt the premium.
